Un peu pour mon coeur…, a new creation by Dalila Belaza

“Chorality in different traditions appears to me to be the means by which voices are brought to the same level at the same moment in perfect accord, in coexistence. This speaks to me of a way of ensuring the survival of the individual and the collective. Each one carrying the voice of all. The voice, the body, the music... speak to me of a common place that makes realities coincide and merge. Where one can no longer perceive the beginning of a thing or its end. A landscape that exists as a whole without division, without separation. Each of the materials becomes the support and an attribute of the others. We perceive the dynamics of the flows of the body, the voice, the music as one and the same organic movement.”

Dalila Belaza is an associated artist with Maison de la Danse / Biennale de la danse de Lyon from September 2026 to 2029.
